CareerMatch AI helps students and job seekers understand how well their resumes match target job roles. Users can upload PDF or DOCX resumes, extract structured profile information, view ATS scores, identify strengths and missing skills, search India-focused job listings, and compare their resumes with job descriptions.
The system uses natural language processing, semantic similarity, rule-based analysis, and optional generative AI to provide practical career recommendations. It also maintains analysis history and generates professional reports that users can review or print.
The application is designed as a local and private college project using basic authentication and a local SQLite database.
